What are the four main parts of the Earth? Describe each one.
A
The crust is at the surface and is thin and solid. The mantle is under the crust and goes almost halfway to the centre- it is almost solid but parts of it can move very slowly. The core is about half the diameter of the Earth and gas a liquid outer part and a solid inner part. The atmosphere surrounds the Earth.
