MOI for trauma which need to be transported to MTC or local trauma unit

Answer 1

Fall > 6 m or 2 storeys in an adult
Fall> 3 m or 2 times patint height in children
Motor vehicles:
- intrusion > 30 cm occupant side
- ejection partial/ complete
- death in same passanger compartment
- vehicle telemetry data consistent with high risk of injury

• older adults ( age>55)
• children
• adnticoagulant / bleeding disorders
• burns: facial, circumferential or >/20 % body surface area (BSA)
• time - sensitive extermity injury
• dialysis- department renal disease
• pregnancy >20 weeks
• ambulance crew concern

Penerating - projet penetrating the skin. stab and gunshot wounds , blast injuies invliving shrapnel .
