ECG Flashcards
ECG
ST segment elevation, LBBB =suggest ACS
12 leads= 12 views
3 main criteria for LBBB
QRS duration of > or = 0.12 sec
wide R waves in lead I and V6 with no Q waves
wide S wave in lead V1 (may have a small R wave)
STEMI
-2 mm or more of ST segment elevation in two contiguous leads
- also ST depression is also a significant sign, it can represent cardiac muscle ischaemia or reciprocal change
Anterior STEMI
- blockage in the left coronary artery or its branches can lead to st segment elevation on the anterior or lateral leads.
-Anterior STEMI – V3 V4 LAD
Lateral STEMI
- can occur in lateral leads ( I , aVL, V5, V6)
Lateral STEMI – I AVL V5 V6 Lcx
Septal STEMI
Septal STEMI – V1 V2 LAD
Inferior Stemi
Inferior STEMI – II III AVF RCA»_space; Lcx
