A
  • Chest wall instability, deformity, or significant focal bony
    tenderness
  • Significant abdominal pain, tenderness, or bruising (i.e. seatbelt
    sign) related to acute traumatic event
  • Two or more proximal long-bone fractures
  • Amputation proximal to wrist or ankle
  • Pelvic fracture
  • Open or depressed skull fracture
  • Paralysis or new neuro defici

Code yellow mechanism criteria.

A

Mechanism:
- Fall:
- adult > 20 feet
- child > 10 feet or 3 x height of child
- High risk auto crash
- ejection (partial or complete) from automobile
-death in same passenger compartment
- Auto vs. pedestrian or bicyclist thrown, run over, or with > 20mph
impact
- Motorcycle crash > 20 mph
