- Stop bleeding
- Airway

- Maintain temperature

What considerations should be made for the airway section of traumatic management?
A
Hoarseness and strider suggests laryngeal damage
Gurgling suggests secretions (log roll, suction)
Snoring suggests tongue obstruction (jaw thrust)
RSI requirements:
Immense pain
Reduced GCS
Anxious due to TBI or aggressive

What considerations should be made for the fluid section of trauma management?
A
Give fluids AFTER bleeding has stopped
Maintain permissive hypotension for short periods of time:
80-90 for penetrating
90-100 for blunt
100-110 for TBI
