What are the symptoms of pericarditis?
Pleuritic chest pain- A sharp central or left-sided chest pain, which may radiate.
ECG changes - widespread PR depression and ST elevation
R - reciprocal changes in AVR
I- pain improves when leaning forward and worse when laying down
infection
What are the symptoms of gastric reflux?
R- relieved when belching
E- burning epigastric abdominal pain
F - food makes it worse
L - pain lifts up to the oesophagus causing central burning chest pain
U - unpleasant sour taste in mouth
What are the symptoms of pleuritic chest pain?
Sharp isolated chest pain, worsened when breathing and moving. Can be associated with Cough, and pleural friction rub on auscultations.
