What are the symptoms of a focal seizure (simple partial)?
Awake and aware, altered sensations, some limb twitching may occur
What are the symptoms of a focal seizure (complex partial)?
No sense of awareness, random body movements/twitching/fiddling, random noises
What are the symptoms of a tonic clonic seizure?
patient becomes unconscious, uncontrollable muscle jerks and spasms occur throughout the body, incontinence and oral truama may occur, usually followed by a postictal period
What are the symptoms of an absent seizure?
staring blankly, fluttering eyes, unresponsive, limb jerks
What are the symptoms of a myoclonic seizure?
A sudden full body twitch last a few seconds
What are the symptoms of a atonic seizure?
all of the patient’s muscles suddenly relax, usually causing the patient to fall to the ground
