What action must you take at a Compulsory Stop Board?

- You would have run over 3 pairs of detonators;
- Danger! Stop immediately;
- Remain stationery until confirming the nature of the obstruction;
- Act on the information received from the Competent Worker.
What must the driver do when Compulsory Stop Protection Boards are not sighted at the expected position?
- Stop the train;
- Establish contact with the RPO;
- The RPO will advise what actions to take.
- If not able to contact the RPO, the operator must advise TC of the situation and await further instructions.
What action must you take when passing an Inner Warning Board?
Sound the whistle (one long), and prepare to stop at the Compulsory Stop Board.
If stopped at a Compulsory Stop Board and unable to contact the RPO by radio, what is the Driver required to do?
If unable to contact RPO, advise TC and wait for further instructions. Do not move until authority is given.
