why are greenhouse gases an ‘insulating layer’?
A
they absorb heat that would normally be radiated out into space and instead re-radiate it in all directions, including towards earth

A
deforestation - fewer trees so less carbon dioxide is removed by photosynthesis
burning fossil fuels - carbon in the fuels is released as carbon dioxide
