The two alpha ++ cities are New York and London, however Tokyo is being considered as city that might become alpha ++. These cities are alpha ++ as they play a major role in global trade, with both cities having major stock exchanges

Alpha + and ++ cities are mostly in developed countries, e.g the U.S, Singapore and Germany. This is because these countries play a greater role in the world through trade and politics
