Q

How has geology helped to shape U.K landscapes?

A

When fish died in the tropical seas around the UK many years ago, they left their skeletons behind, so when other fish died their skeletons etones land on top of theirs, gradually forming layers. Some of these layers deposited on top of limestone and formed the peaks of mountains like the Pennines.
