branches of brachial a

A

Profunda Brachii Artery (Deep Brachial Artery)
Branches:

Radial Collateral Artery: Contributes to the anastomoses around the elbow.

Middle Collateral Artery: Joins the anastomoses around the elbow.
Supplies: The posterior compartment of the arm.

Superior Ulnar Collateral Artery
Path: Runs along the medial side of the arm with the ulnar nerve.
Anastomoses: With the posterior ulnar recurrent artery around the elbow.

Inferior Ulnar Collateral Artery
Path: Descends anteriorly to the elbow.
Anastomoses: With the anterior ulnar recurrent artery around the elbow.

Nutrient Artery to the Humerus
Supplies: The humerus bone.

Muscular Branches
Supply: The muscles of the arm.
Bifurcation into Radial and Ulnar Arteries

Radial Artery: Supplies the lateral aspect of the forearm and hand.

Ulnar Artery: Supplies the medial aspect of the forearm and hand.

collateral network

A

Lateral Side (Radial):
Radial Collateral Artery (from the profunda brachii) anastomoses with the Radial Recurrent Artery (from the radial artery).

Medial Side (Ulnar)/
Superior Ulnar Collateral Artery (from the brachial artery) anastomoses with the Posterior Ulnar Recurrent Artery (from the ulnar artery).
Inferior Ulnar Collateral Artery (from the brachial artery) anastomoses with the Anterior Ulnar Recurrent Artery (from the ulnar artery).

Posterior Side (Interosseous)/
Middle Collateral Artery (from the profunda brachii) anastomoses with the Interosseous Recurrent Artery (from the common interosseous artery).
