How is a person selected for a specialty/followup unit?
Lt or Capt chooses top three and sends to Bureau Chief for selection. Lt or Capt then sends memo to each person not selected.

The Public Safety Civil Service secretary. Must be submitted within 180 days from the effective date of resignation. Need favorable recommendation from Chief

Supervisor. Efforts may include phone calls, letters and in-person contacts. All efforts must be documented.
