What is a Mobilization Alert?
An alert that notifies dept personnel of impending emergancy operations that may require re-deployment of dept resources.

Who can initiate a mobilization alert?
Stage 1 Mobilization: perm Lt or higher
Stage 2 Mobilization: perm Lt or higher
Stage 3: A/C Chief
Stage 4: Chief of Police

How is a mobilization alert broadcasted?
- Communcations broadcasts via radio and MDT
- Communications sends to all chiefs, SPOC and duty captain
- Commanders will notify through chain of command

Who can adjust shifts during a mobilization alert?
Watch commanders

What does Stage One mobilization do?
Activates taskforce and on-duty traffic.
SPOC is notified but not necessarily activated.
Can be done by Lt or higher

What does a Stage Two mobilization do?
- Spoc is activated
- Taskforce, traffic, CPT, SWAT, ACT and all other uniformed personnel are deployed
- Can be activated by Lt or higher

What does a Stage Three mobilization do?
- Full deployement of all on-duty personnel, including investigations and other non-uniformed officers.
- SPOC is activated
- Done by A/Chief or higher

What does a Stage 4 mobilization do?
- State of emergency by the mayor
- Initiated by Chief of Police
- All personnel (on and off duty) mobilized. (gold/blue plan)

Who must have a complete copy of their precinct/section telephone call-out roster accessible?
Lt or above.

If blue/gold is implemented, where to officers respond to?
To their assigned precincts. If the precinct is not availalbe, respond the police facility nearest their normal duty station.

Gold. 0630/1900

When is an After Action required?
Whenever a special event, demonstration or other unusual circumstance occurs.

When is an after action report due?
E-mailed to Bureau Commnder within 30 business days of the conclusion of the event.
(If IC is Sgt or Lt, sent through the chain command.)

What is the routing for an after action?
IC thru chain to BC, who sends it to Executive Director of Finance and Budget, who sends a copy to SPOC, who sends a copy to FRU and the Pct.

If the IC or BC cannot complete an after action in 30 days, who may they request an extension from?
Homeland Security BC

The incident commander of the event.
