A

Vasoconstriction for 10 minutes followed by vasodilation, edema (swelling) and clot formation.
Phagocytosis of bacteria by neutrophils.

A

Formation of granulation tissue in the wound and ongoing phagocytosis of dead cells, debris and pathogens.

A

Coverage of granulation tissue with epithelia, wound contraction in wounds of sufficient size and replacement of granulation tissue with fibrous scar tissue in wounds of sufficient size.
