what are Case Controlled studies
Case Controlled studies compare two groups of people: those with the disease or condition under study (cases) and a very similar group of people who do not have the disease or condition (controls).
how do Randomised controlled trials work?
RCT) are prospective studies that measure the effectiveness of a new intervention or treatment.
RCTs are the gold-standard for studying causal relationships as randomisation eliminates much of the bias inherent with other study designs.
