The idea that the act of an emotion is part of a linear sequence. We need a stimuli, which leads to a biological response, which ends with an emotion.

We must receive the stimuli first, in order to get an emotion and a physical response at the same exact time. *Cannon = Cause then Bard = Both

A

We need a stimuli (Arousal), which then leads to psychological arousal and cognitive label which then ends with an emotion.
