Mobile - most used in UK
Fixed hydraulic - not versatile - makes positioning of horses, equipment or surgical access difficult.
Inflatable - Least expensive, restrictive for positioning, equipment or surgical access . often too unstable for many procedures. I.E orthopaedics

A
Turn on lights - check bulbs 
Check theatre temp
all surfaces damp dusted 
prepare equipment needed - ie trolley, table, heat pads
check and test all equipment 
turn on oxygen - check gas levels 
check ops list - get out equipment and instruments 
lay out gowns, gloves etc 
ensure clippers are clean

What order should non emergency surgical cases be carried out in?

A

Clean surgery - surgical wound made under aseptic conditions - i.e neutering
Clean contaminated - surgical wound made under aseptic conditions entering the osepharynx. , urogenital tracts, etc
contaminated surgery - major spill of contaminated material at surgical site or break in sterile technique. i.e abdominal surgery (FB) oral surgery, wound less that 4 hours old
Infected surgery - surgical site is already infected i.e abscess, old wounds.
