Available in clear and colour tints, applied with a cloth, rub oil into surface of the wood in the direction of grain,
leave to absorb
sand or rub with wire wool to open up the grain.

vacuum and pressure is controlled to force the preservative deep into the fibres of the wood.
and then the wood is steam-dried.
