A
- Original sin (The Church that everyone is born with original sin, which is washed away at baptism
- Personal sin (actions that break God’s law and is the consequence of a person’s own actions)

why do Catholics believe salvation is important?
A
- without salvation there can be no real relationship with God
- without salvation a person’s sins will prevent them from entering heaven
- salvation from sin was the whole purpose of Jesus coming to earth and founding Christianity

- sacramental graces which come from the sacraments
- special gifts, such as the gift as healing
- the graces that come from special callings such as priests
