A
being made into the image of God, Genesis teaches that God created humans in his image

- each human is special, unique and sacred in God’s eyes
- humans are more than animals and not to be used as objects
- humans have fundamental human rights such as freedom and health care

- Christians should regard creation as a gift from God to be used by humans in the way in which God intended
- God gave humans control of the earth and its resources (dominion)

- looking after God’s creation and passing it on to future generations
- make sure that the earth’s resources are shared out fairly
- make sure that humans treat God’s creation fairly

- Do not believe in God and are non-religious
- Believe in scientific views
- Reason and science teaches them that people need to care for and look after the planet
