a stone container for bones
what is the Vestments?
special clothes worn by priests when conducting worship

why are the Sacred vessels important?
bread and wine are the most holy objects as Catholics believe they hold the body and blood of Christ in sacramental form
why are the Cloths and vestments important?
special covers for the altar and lectern and for the priest to wear

reflect Catholic beliefs about saints and holiness which can be gained through prayer
why are hunger cloths traditionally important?
used during Lent to depict scenes from the life of Christ
why are sacred objects not just used just in church?
- the Chalice, Paten and Ciborium are used to consecrated and distribute Holy Communion
- priests wear special vestments outside church for such things as funerals
- Holy water is used to bless and can be sprinkled at home too
