How did the allies try to establish a stable and peaceful France?
Senate invited King Louis XVIII to take the throne as long as he signed the charter. The main points of the charter were:

In what way were the 4th Coalition’s actions detrimental to France?
Louis proceeded through the streets and acted as a traditional bourbon Monarch, had a strong divine right belief and legitimacy in his position and gave little responsibility to the assembly.

How did Napoleon attempt to reassert his power and what was the result?
Proposed a new constitution the Acte Additionel to appease the liberal with greater promise of democracy. Raised a 300,000 person army and attempted to defeat the 4th Coalition that he hoped would be disagreeing with one another. After failing to chase a Prussian defeat, napoleon was defeated at Waterloo when the Prussian forced returned. He was exiled to St Helana.
Louis XVIII was reinstated and persuaded French fortresses to surrender and pardoned everyone but the instigators.

Buffer states placed around France. Wanted to punish France and reward the victors and ensure Royal rule.

Louis had difficulties governing, both due to the Royalist and Bonapartist sentiments in France and the push for a greater return to the ancien regime by returned emigres.
Still retained many reforms such as Napoleonic Code, the departments and tax system.
France thrived post war mainly due to the reforms made by Napolepon.
