What must we do to have Effective partnerships?
Build strong relationships of Trust and Confidence in each other with Iwi Maori, our communities and our partner agencies so that we can share information and implement collaborative approaches.
Police are uniquely placed to help other government agencies implement the social investment approach as ‘facilitators’ and ‘connectors’. Why is this?
More than any other agency, our officers are in homes of those more at risk, collecting information and intelligence that when shared, can improve decision making by all agencies to prevent further harm and ensure social services reach those who need them the most.
