A type of love where the intimacy or liking component is present, but feelings of passion or commitment in the romantic sense is missing.
Friendship
A type of love characterized by feelings of lust and physical passion without liking and commitment. There hasn’t been enough time for a deeper love to develop.
Infatuation
A type of love characterized by commitment without passion or intimacy.
Empty Love
A type of love that bonds people emotionally through physical passion and intimacy. Long-term commitment or future plans are still undecided.
Romantic Love
A type of love that is intimate but non-passionate, with the commitment component also present.
Companionate Love
A type of love where commitment and passion are present, but intimacy is absent. Typified as a whirlwind courtship in which passion motivates a commitment without the stabilizing influence of intimacy.
Fautuous Love
A type of love made up of all three components: Intimacy, Passion and Commitment. Regarded as the ideal relationship.
