Q

Biological/ circadian rhythms

A

Aka “biological clock”; daily cycle of sleep and wakefulness
Regulates the timing of sleep/wake cycle

Genetically programmed:
Day/night cycles
Changing of seasons
Seasonal reproductive cycles (animals)

Last just over 24 hrs in humans
