A
Negative consequences;
- Psychological; Negative mood, stress, shame/disgust. Increases obsessive behaviours and amount of rules. Causes problems w concentration and eventually emotional numbness and body avoidance
- Social: Lying, losing friends, afraid to go out, avoidance. isolation, conflicts

Underweight
Lanugo (donshaar)
Poor blood circulation (acrocyanosis)
Erythema ab igne (hot water bottle)
Russell’s sign on hands
Teeth erosion
Swelling of parotid/submandibular glands

Invisible physical consequences
A
Hypoglycemia; low blood sugar
Heart problems
Lack of growth in children (not reversible)
Amenorrhea (can lead to infertility)
Osteoporosis
Kidneyproblems/lack of electrolytes
