Define social stratification
the development of unequal layers based on factors such as income, education, status and power.
Define discrimination
the use of a negative perception to make a distinction between individuals or a group.
Define stereotyping
a preconceived, oversimplified, perception of an individual or a group.

a previously formed biased opinion which has no evidence to back it up.
Define equal opportunity
can be defined as an individual being treated fairly without any form of discrimination preventing them from participation.
