What is the function of the humors in the eye?
Helps to maintain shape
What is the function of the lens in the eye?
Divides eye into 2 chambers. Main focusing apparatus by allowing light to be focused on retina
What is the function of the sclera in the eye?
Protective white Connective tissue
What is the function of the choroid in the eye?
Prevents light scattering inside eye
What is the function of the Ciliary body in the eye?
It is what attaches the lens
What is the function of the iris in the eye?
Coloured section and allows light in eye
What is the function of the retina in the eye?
Contains rods and cones that respond to light
what makes the cornea special?
Only tissue in body that doesnt reject transplantation
What is the function of rods in the eye?
Allows vision in dim lighting, see grey tones and for peripheral vision
What is the function of cones in the eye?
Allows vision in bright light, gives colour and sharp vision
What are the two chambers separated by the lens called?
Anterior is aqueous humor and posterior is vitreous humor
What is the outer and middle ear used for?
Hearing
What is the inner ear used for?
Hearing and equilibrium
