plantar flexor of foot pushing body forwards when walking. Flex leg at knee

Extends and abducts foot

Flex and rotate leg laterally and extend thigh
What is the function of the Gluteus maximus?
Leg to straighten at the hip in activities. Assists in raising from sitting position and extend thigh

Outwards rotation of thigh

extends fingers and wrist

Allows lifting at elbow, also assists in shoulder movement

Allows wide range of movement of arm at shoulder

Moves, rotates and stabilizes scapula. Also extends head from neck

Rotates the head and flexes neck

Used for mastication. In use when jaw closes

Used for mastication and opening and closing of jaw
