Giving in to social or group pressure

What is compliance
Where someone changes their behaviour or beliefs to avoid public disapproval
What is identification
Changing attitudes or behaviour to join a desirable group, however the change in behaviour is not permanent
What is Internalisation
Changing attitudes or behaviour to that of the groups. This changes your belief both publicly and privately

What is Informational Social Influence
When someone changes their behaviour in order to be correct because they are unsure of the correct response
What is Normative Social Influence
Doing something in order to avoid an punishment or gain a reward
