Factors that effect optimum weight
Height, Sex, Muscle size, Bone structure
Anorexia
A serious eating disorder where people refuse to eat due to wanting to lose weight or the fear of gaining weight. Lack of nutrition become very thin
Effects of not eating
Fatigue, Dizziness, Dehydration, Depression/anxiety, Muscle atrophy (waste away), Death
Underweight
Weigh less than the healthy expected weight for his or her height and sex. Being underweight can lead to serious health problems
Overweight
Weight more than expected for his or her height and sex. Being overweight isn’t harmful unless the person has a high body fat content. Can be overweight due to muscle mass instead which is helpful for sports such as rugby
Overfat
Someone who has a high fat content and might be overweight. Can lead to health problems like high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels.
Obesity
An overweight person with extremely high body fat levels, can result from eating too much with a lack of physical activity.

Depression, mobility issues, strokes, heart disease, type 2 diabetes

The most favourable weight to produce their best performance in their sport
