Visual
Where the student watches the coach, another student, or a photo performing the skill

Where the coach explains to the student how to perform the skill

Where the coach is in contact with the student, helping their movements
Intrinsic feedback
Comes from the performer themselves about how they feel they performed
Concurrent feedback
Given at the time of the performance
Extrinsic feedback
Comes from an outside source.
Terminal feedback
Given at the end of a game, which allows for more reflection
Open skill
Where the player has to adapt to the situation to perform it
Closed skill
Not affected by the environment and therefore can follow set patterns
Basic
A skill that a player finds easy and needs little concentration to do
Complex
A skill that needs attention and concentration to perform
Low organisation skill
A skill that has clear and simple phases or parts
High Os
A skill that has lots of complicated phases or parts
