What is the axis
An imaginary straight line around which a body or object rotates
What is the fulcrum
The point around which the lever rotates
Load
The force that is applied by the lever system
Effort
The force that is applied by the user of the lever system
How does it work
A lever is a rigid structure, such as a bar or bone, that rotates around an axis.
How does the first class lever system work
In a first class lever, the fulcrum sits in the middle, between the load and the effort.

How does the second class lever system work
In a second class leavers, the load sits between the fulcrum and effort A wheelbarrow is a good example
How does a third class lever system work
In a third class lever, the effort is applied between the fulcrum and the load.
