Drip Torch

A
  1. Shakes
  2. Places torch in a clear area and loosens and removes lock ring
  3. Loosens and removes fuel flow plug, inspects “O” ring, and places it hand tight on
    blind threaded retainer
  4. Removes fuel spout, checks fuel level in the tank, and checks gasket on spout
  5. Turns spout assembly over and sets it atop drip torch with wick pointed away from
    tank handle
  6. Slips lock ring over spout, threaded side down, and tightens lock ring in place
  7. Opens air vent 3⁄4 of the way
  8. Pours small amount of fuel on ground and lights it with match or fusee
  9. Lights drip torch wick by inverting torch above flaming fuel
    Extinguish and Disassemble
  10. Blows out wick and allows it to cool
  11. Removes lock ring and places it on clean surface
  12. Refills tank to 3⁄4 full
  13. Inserts spout assembly wick into tank
  14. Replaces lock ring and hand tightens it
  15. Removes fuel flow plug from retainer and places it to block fuel flow to spout
  16. Closes air vent
