SI-1 Eq
SI-1
EQ: Dorsolateral aspect of the thoracic hoof, 0.5 cun proximal to the coronary band
Fx: Jing-well point (metal), laminitis, sore throat, mastitis, fever, coma, shoulder pain
SI-2 Eq
SI-2
Eq: Lateral aspect of the pastern, in the depression distal to the fetlock joint, palmar to the extensor branch of the suspensory ligament
*Go behind the branch of suspensory
Fx: Ying-spring point (water), sore throat, otitis, lack of milk yield, febrile disease, eye pain
SI-3 CA
SI-3
- CA: Just proximal to the metacarpophalangeal joint on the latero-palmar side of the 5th digit
- Fx: Shu-stream point (water), mother point for deficiency, confluent point of GV channel, cervical stiffness*, back pain, red eye
SI-3 Eq
SI-3
Eq: In a depression proximo-lateral to the fetlock joint, on the palmaro-lateral aspect of the canon bone, just distal to the end of the lateral spling bone, dorsal to the suspensory ligament
Fx: Shu-stream point (wood/mother), contusion, spain, sweeling at fetlock, tendinitis of flexor tendons, cervical stifness, laminitis, seizure, manic
SI-4 Eq
SI-4
Eq: Distal and dorsal to the base of the lateral splint bone, in the depression between the canon and the lateral splint bones.
Opposite to LI-4
Fx: Yuan primary point, cervical stiffness, jaundice, fever, carpal pain and arthritis
SI-8 CA
SI-8
CA: On the medial side* of the elbow between the medial epicondyle and the olecranon (this point is at the ulnar nerve/funny bone)
Fx: Son point for excess, He-sea point (earth), epilepsy, pain in elbow
SI-8 Eq
SI-8
Eq: In the depression between the olecranon and the lateral* epicondyle of the humerus, ventral to the lateral head of the triceps brachii m.
*not the same as dog
Fx: He-sea point (earth-son), elbow pain, seizure
SI-9 CA
SI-9
CA: Caudal to the humerus, in a large depression along the caudal border of the deltoid muscle at its juncture with the triceps muscle
(between the long and lateral heads of the triceps muscle, at the level of the shoulder joint)
*In the depression in the T shape
Fx: Ear problems, shoulder pain, thoracic limb lameness or paralysis
SI-9 Eq
Eq
SI-9: Large depression at the junction of the deltoideus, lateral head and long head of the triceps brachii
*First depression from the point of shoulder is TH-14 and the second hole is SI-9
Fx: Shoulder pain, forelimb lameness and general pain relief
SI-16 Eq
Eq
SI-16: Dorsal border of the brachiocephalicus muscle at the level of the 2nd vertebral space C2-C3
*Move ventral than TH-16
Fx: Diagnostic point (with TH-15) for ligament/tendon, cervical stiffness
SI-19 Eq
Eq
SI-19: Indentation at the rostral lateral corner of the base of the ear
Dorsal to zygomatic arch at the TMJ
**Bring the ear lateral and straight down under the cartilage
Fx: Ear problems, manic, toothache
