Da-Fen-men
CA: in a depression on the dorsal midline at the level of the cranial rim of ear bases = GV-21
fx: Calm mind, internal wind, seizure, tremors, headache, vertigo, nasal congestion
Nao-shu
(Brain association pt)
On the temporalis muscles, 1/3 of the way along the line between the cranial ear base to the lateral canthus of the eye
fx: seizures and shen disturbance
Ah-sen CA
CA: the point is located midway between the dorsal and ventral borders of the ear base, in a large depression that is half way between GB-20 and TH-17
Fx: Calm shen, external wind, internal wind, stiff neck, headache, nose bleed, nasal congestion, facial paralysis, otitis, deafness
Shan-gen CA
CA: nose, dorsal midline at the junction between haired and non-haired region
Fx: appetite stimulation, shock, coma, wind-cold, wind-heat
Jian-wei CA
(strengthen stomach)
CA: On the lateral cervical region between the jugular veine and the transverse process of the cervical vertebrae at the junction of the upper and middle 1/3 of the jugular groove, on the ventral border of the brachiocephalic m.
fx: Appetite stimulant, vomiting, stomach disorder
Er-jian
Tip of ear
Covex surface of the ear at angular veine at ear tip
fx: Fever, wind-heat, heat, abdominal pain
Jing-jia-ji
Cervical hua-tuo-jia-ji
Just dorsal and ventral to the lateral vertebrae process at the level of the intervertebral spaces C1-2 / C2-3 / C3-4 / C4-5 / C5-6 / C6-7 / C7-T1
7 pairs
fx: Cervical stiffness and wobbler
Ding-chuan
Stop cough
0.5 cun lateral to GV-14 (C7-T1)
fx: cough, asthma
Tian-ping
Scale
Between T13-L1 on the dorsal midline = GV-5
fx: stop hemorrhage internally, hematuria, castration, spaying, bleeding
Bai-hui
Between L7-S1 on the dorsal midline
*Palpate 2 wings of the ilium and put 3rd finger caudally until fall in a depression
fx: yang deficiency, diarrhea, constipation, intervertebral disk disease, pelvic limb paresis and paralysis
Shen-shu
1 cun lateral to bai-hui
fx: Shouce Qi, kidney Qi/yang deficiency, diarrhea, constipation, intervertebral disk disease, pelvic limb paresis and paralysis
Wei-jian
Tip of tail
At the tip of tail = GV=1b
fx; paralysis of the tail, pelvic limb weakness
Hua-tua-jia-ji
Betweem the vertebral bodies from T1 to L7, 0.5 cun lateral from midline.
1 cun lmedial to the BL channel
fx: intervertebral disk disease, back pain
Er-yan
Two eye sacral foramina
In the pelvic sacral foramina, 2 pairs bilateral (4 points)
*Palpate the sacrum and go lateral
fx: Lumbarsacral pain, pelvic limb paresis, infertility, metritis
