What are the muscles made of?
All of the muscles are made up of protien
What are voluntary muscles? What are the characteristics of them? Relate this to sport.
Voluntary muscles are muscles that you can control and you can choose when to relax and contract these muscles are attached to the skeleton and are made up of cylinder shaped fibres to relate this to sport if you were running for athletics you would be consious and able to move them freely.

How the skeletal and muscular system work together?
The muscle system is composed more than 600 muscles which include the involuntary muscles of the heart, the smooth muscles of the internal organs and the skeletal muscles. All muscles are connected to the nerbous system allowing movement to signal through the brain.
Together their main function is to create movement, keep you stable, give you posture and protects.
