Guided discovery
Constructivism. Instead of discovery learning (piaget), which has a lack of effect due to absence of feedback, direct instruction and providing feedback.
Sociocognitive conflict
Two opposing egocentric views of preoperational children. Only social interaction Piaget included. Egocentric perspective starts moving. Coupling with someone who performs just a little better.
Working in pairs
Drawback is that more advanced may regress, on child dominant(boy) and popular peers have more influence. Positive collaboration needs to be actively encouraged

Regulation theory based on motivation
Amotivation
Not motivated, non-regulation style. Lack of control, nonvalue
Extrinsic motivation
External regulation ; Compliance, external rewards/punishment
Introjected regulation: Self control, ego-involvement. Internal reward/punisch
Identified regulation: Personal importance, conscious, valueing
Integrated regulation: Congruence, awareness, synthesis with self
Intrinsic motivation
Intrinsic regulation. interest, enjoyment, inherent satisfaction.
