What is Chromosomal DNA?

A

chromosomal DNA is the DNA of bacterial cells is found loose in the cytoplasm and is not contained within a nucleus.

What is Plasmid DNA?

A

Plasmids are small, closed-circles of DNA present in the bacteria’s cytoplasm. Unlike the chromosomal DNA, plasmid DNA can move from one bacterium to another giving variation.
