Pressuried metered dose inhaler (pMDI) - 100mcg per activation

Actions
- Bronchodilation
- Relaxation of involuntary muscle
- Moves potassium from extracellular to intracellular space.

Uses
- Respiratory distress due to asthma or COPD
- Emergency treatment of suspected hyperkalaemia

Dose (adult)
Adult >6yrs
Mild-mod resp distress
4-12 actuations -repeat every 20-30 mins - 1 actuation to 4 breaths
severe resp distress
12 actuations - repeat every 20 mins - 1 actuation to 4 breaths
Life-threatening respiratory distress and hyperkalaemia
12 actuations - repeat every 10 mins - no repeat limit
Note:
the solution in the pMDI is separated. please shake prior to every actuation.
