standard dative plural construction rules

A

consonant combines with ending -σιν just as future / aorist verb forms combine with -σ:

  1. dentals: τ δ θ ζ + σιν -> σιν
    (e. g. παις, παιδος -> παισιν)
  2. labials: π β φ + σιν -> ψιν
    (e. g. ???)
  3. gutturals: κ γ χ σσ + σιν -> ξιν
    (e. g. σαρξ, σαρκος -> σαρξιν)
