POINT - RIGHT TO STAND AS CANDIDATE (MUST ACT HONESTLY)

A

Explain - You can put yourself forward to be voted for in an election, most will join political parties, you must act honestly and legally if your chosen to represent.
Example - Nicola Sturgeon put herself forward to be an MSP since she was the leader of the biggest party

POINT - RIGHT TO THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH

A

Explain - Individuals have the right to express their opinions about the government without the government interfering and pursuing them as long as it’s not a hate speech using racism or homophobia
Example - The public used this right to discus the disappointment with the SQA results in 2020 on twitter.
