Manual 003: SUMMARY
The purpose of Manual 003 is to:
assist members of the public who may be affected by a decision of the AER and are not familiar with all aspects of the regulatory decision-making process.
outline the step by step process that will be encountered.
explain the roles and responsibilities of AER staff, lawyers, and the hearing commissioners.
Define legal terms and expressions used throughout the process to promote understanding.
The AER expects all applicants and participants in AER matters to be familiar with the Rules of Practice.
EFQ– Having your say ~ AER Hearing
Purpose:
AER hearing is a public forum and a formal, quasi- judicial proceeding – Decisions are public
