How can transient tachpnoea in a newborn form?
Maybe they were born through caesarean and the stress of birth through labour didn;t cause the fluid to be reabsorbed so they still have fluid present. Slide 21
What are the common causes for pneumonia in neonatal babies?

In school age children, what are common causes for pneumonia?

What is croup?
laryngotracheobronchitis which is caused by a vrius, it causes swelling and can result in stridor and a characteristic “barking” cough. Slide 54
How is croup treated?
With an oral steroid to reduce inflammation. Slide 54
