IV ABX and steroids
What do you see in retropharyngeal abscess?
widening of prevertebral soft tissue - CAN EASILY GO TO MEDIASTINUM
What x ray finding is consistent with dx of tonsillitis?
soft-tissue near the base of tongue
How do we tx tonsillitis?
strep test and + amoxacillin if - nothing
If coin look like ok (face front)?
esophagus
If coin is one the side what does that mean?
trachea

patent osteomeatal openings from maxillary sinus into nasal fossa
