When do open angle glaucoma pt go blind?
after 25 years
What is seen with ACG?
cloudy cornea
What do you see in the eye of open angle galucoma?
cupping
Who do you screen for OAG?
black >40, whites >65, fx or DM or myopia
What is the lens located too far forward and abuts iris?
ACG
What is primary ACG?
no cause identitifed
What is secondary ACG?
push or pull iris
tumor, hemorrhage, displaced lens
Who is at high risk for ACG?
Asians, fx, over 60 yo, hyperopia
What is CM of ACG?
HA, decreased vision, halos, eye pain, N/v, cloudy cornea, shallow chamber, conjunctival
