What causes hyperacute bacterial conjunctivitis?
neisseria gonorrhoeae
What will pts with hyperacute bacterial conjunctivitis present with?
lid swelling, chemosis, preauricular adenopathy
How do you treat a pt with hyperacute bacterial conjunctivitis?
hospitalization with ABX topically and orally
What are the polymyxin B combos?
bacitracin
Neomycin/bacitracin
Trimethoprim
