It is vital to the business success of Schlumberger that we maintain confidentiality to all such information. All business, financial and technical conversations, notes, manuals, and papers and other forms of confidential information, whether physical or electronic, must be protected and Schlumberger employees are not to disclose confidential information to any unauthorized person, either intentionally or by accident.

A

Respect for each individual is an essential part of teamwork. Sexual harassment is contrary to Schlumberger values and against everything we are working for and it will not be tolerated.

Sexual harassment can include such things as:

  • unwelcome sexual advances or propositions;
  • any verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature which unreasonably interferes with another person’s ability to work or creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive work environment;
  • personnel decisions such as hiring, promotion, compensation and continued employment, which are based on an employee’s acceptance or rejection of sexual advances;
  • inappropriate attempts at sexual humor.

List and explain the 7 elements of the driving policy

  1. Driver Training and qualifications- only approved personnel and contactors can drive vehicles on behalf of SLB.
  2. Seat belts- every person at vehicle must use seatbelt all times.
  3. Journey management. - all location shall have in place an active journey management.
  4. Substance abuse. - it is prohibited to drive a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any drug.
  5. Driver improvement Monitor.- all transport should have improvement monitor.
  6. Cellular phone. – Driver should not initiate or answer a text or phone calls.
  7. Disciplinary action- violation of policy can result of disciplinary action.

Journey Management : pre-trip approval, 16hr rule

A

Pre trip approval- Must fill out eJourney and get it approved by appropriate people depending on the score.

16 hr rule. SLB rule where employees must not drive if they have worked or been on duty for 16hr in the previews 24hrs.
