Q

What is the ionising power of the types of radiation?

A
  • When radiation collides with atoms this can cause atoms to loose elctrons + form ions.
  • Alpha: Strongly ionisig.
  • Beta Particles: Quite strongly ionising.
  • Gamma Rays: Weakly ionising.
